From Johns Hopkins on Covid-19:

Confirmed cases, world wide: 127,863

Total deaths: 4718

Total recovered: 68,310

The great number of deaths and recoveries were in China, where they waited weeks, maybe months, to respond to it at all, or warn anybody else.

I read an article interviewing one of the researchers at John Hopkins and to paraphrase he was saying


to the people comparing this to the flu.. the concern is, this isnt replacing the flu, it is additive to the flu.

Basically, we now have the flu coming around with a 20k death total this year then you add however many deaths caused by the coronavirus. It just keeps adding up.
