I can see that being the case.
I honestly hope he stays in Memphis. He's a NY guy. This is going to be a mess here with our concentrations of population.
Large cities are better for your health in many ways, but pandemics crush our density.
Still a good risk generally, but there is a risk involved.
If you're not in the NYC/LI/NJ area now, stay out. This is going to be WILD here.
Hope Les stays in Memphis...
Brentwood feels like Memphis without the tall buildings and a bunch more Puerto Ricans (Population Density wise at least)...
And the Puerto Ricans are a plus
I know, but it's going to incubate and spread like wildfire. A LOT of Long Island works in Manhattan.
I'd bet we're already at a major number of unknown cases in the city. I'm probably fine, but I was in the isolation zone in Westchester a week before it all went down.
I'm about to leave for volleyball and a work out, but we had a long text thread about if we should even play.
The trains are empty-ish and my clients have gone AWOL.
This is going to spread through the boroughs and every commuter train is going to bring it to every bedroom community in NJ/LI.
Lester is safer there.

Why not? He came because of Precious. Precious is gone. Memphis is a long way from home. Could play in a better conference etc

Same. Also I do not remember the thread, but if I remember correctly sorry to hear about your possible project lost due to the outbreak.

If he gets that three pointer consistent, I can see him as a 2-and-done.

RE: Lester....BOH?
Younger folks sometimes have family members who are more at risk, however.
There is some evidence that those who do not exhibit symptoms, or have a slight case, can infect others.
edit: o yeah...and then those 'others' can become quite ill. Sometimes they don't make it through. That would be pretty sad--to infect a loved one, I mean.

So he came just to play with precious for one year knowing he wouldn’t be there the second and then transfer out and sit a year..... riiiiiight. He could very well transfer but this scenario is pure nonsense.

These young men so love playing and so wanted to do something special, I really feel for them. It has been a dramatic season for all.
I hope they all return with a monster chip on their shoulders and swag in their steps. I for one appreciate every one of them.

Amen. So many people making fools of themselves.
I'll take it a step further.... 80-90 year old Americans (who are hardest hit from Corona) have about 100 times more likely chance of being killed by a lightning strike than being killed by this "pandemic".
