Seniors
I'm totally heartbroken for our seniors. This is the right decision by the NCAA & the professional sports leagues. But, man this really breaks my heart for this senior class.

I can remember going to a Western hockey game in Wade's freshman season. I had just moved back to Michigan, so it was my first Western hockey game since my days in college. Wade & Hugh were flying around the ice. It was a skill level of college hockey that I hadn't seen before @ Lawson. I remember thinking that this class was going to take Western hockey to another level. They faced a lot of adversity their first 3 seasons including some disappointing losses, injuries, & mono wiping out the team. Wade, Hugh, Dawson, & Lawton deciding to come back for their senior season + Mattias choosing to stay another season showed how much these guys were all in for this program & for each other.

Then they battle through a slow start and injuries. They still had everything in front of them to be able to accomplish their goals. And it all gets wiped out by coronavirus. Wow. I know there are things in life bigger than sports. But, it just kills me that their careers at Western ends like this.

And Wade Allison....all you've fought through with the ACL injury & head injuries. You deserved a better finish than this. We didn't get to see you clicking on all cylinders as often as we would've liked. But, when you were, it was something special to watch. You'll always be my favorite Bronco hockey player. Go crush it in the pro's.

Amen BroncoMinor

Rare for special players to come through this program like them wheras programs like ND, Denver, Duluth, get these type of players year in and year out.

Tough day.......gonna miss Wade for sure, his energy, not quitting attitude, awesome player! I hope he will be able to make the Philly roster one day

RE: Seniors
I’m hoping the NCAA extends the seniors effected by this sweeping cancellation of season ending championships an extra season of eligibility... even extending a teams roster for a season to accommodate the added players.

Just seems fair.
