Just imagine if James Wiseman would have stayed and we were a number 1 seed in the NCAA's then it got cancelled. That would have stung 10x harder than our current situation.

All that struggle to make the tournament and then there is not one.

The positive side of this is that Penny will have an asterisk in his record, stating that he didn’t make the NCAA tourney in 2020, but that there was no tourney in 2020. This is actually better, IMHO, than a record showing two consecutive years in the NIT.

Sometimes the clouds have a silver lining but you just have to look hard to find it.
