We've got a long road ahead of us. Everything from schools systems to commercial buildings to government facilities are contacting our firm to figure out how we can mitigate risks within spaces and obviously tons of discussions regarding Covid-19 and HVAC systems when it comes to new construction and renovations.

We also teamed up with JHU to do fluid dynamic modeling on a variety of space types. Scientifically, it helps JHU researchers see how particulates spread; from a business-standpoint, it gives us design recommendations to sell with real science behind it.

Absolutely. Let me just say that my workload has not eased up one bit. I've been steady busy and with all the research currently underway for Covid, I would imagine a lot of the big Equipment Manufacturers start rolling out new technology in the near future. I've had many a webinar emails come through my inbox for "clean air" recirc. Its going to be a major factor moving forward for sure.

Absolutely. Definitely a major factor for sure. Hope your next residential install goes well. Those attics are hot!

Edit: My family member who owns an HVAC business has already told me the technology Trane sells has the ability to kill Covid. So who exactly are you? Absolutely for sure?

The company I work for does commercial work and not residential lol Awesome for your buddy who does residential HVAC though! Sorry I spec a little bigger than your residential 2 or 3 ton systems. More 50-60 ton dual path Seasons 4 units. Are you a loser though?

Who am I? I’m you’re average joe at 33 years of age who works hard to provide for his family at every moment. What do you feel I’ve spewed that’s false? You sound like a effing creep asking who exactly I am. And as far as your tough guy comment from your earlier post, I’ll PM you an address real quick. If you’re trying to call someone out, please don’t be a p***y when I message you my address.

Nah it’s definitely not but for the sake of everyone else on these forums I wanted to keep it simple. Sounds like you understood it just fine so again what more do you have to say? And how the fck did you even find yourself into this when I asked someone, who wasn’t even you a question? You want an adddess I’ll provide it. If you aren’t down for that take a seat and stfu.

More often than not your bs comments bring nothing to the table anyways, just like your comment in JayBirds departing post. As politely as it can be said, go **** yourself.

I don’t want your address. I didn’t call you out or say any dumb **** to you. Somehow your wack ass came stumbling in and starting acting like a big shot because I asked how old someone was. No one ever claimed to be a “tough guy because I’m in the HVAC industry”. So again go f**k yourself and have a good night. Damn loser lol

Back to what matters: here's a link to an opinion piece that urges schools to reopen in the fall (my apologies, I do not know how to insert it direct, so you will need to put up with an ad once you click the link):

https://www.westernjournal.com/look-msnb...n-schools/

I am sure that those who are as fixed in their shutdown obsession as I am in my reopen obsession will critique the source as being right-leaning, and thus inherently unreliable. But the underlying material comes from MSNBC and from what appear to be nonpartisan "experts". If you care enough, give it a look.

Watched the piece. 2 take aways. Some Dr agree school should open in the fall. SEcond, and IMO more importantly, NBC and MSNBC are airing a piece that is more right leaning. They of course knew what the Drs. were going to say, so to me in kind of puts a chink in the mantra about how one sided MSM is. Props to MSNBC for airing a piece they could have buried.

No issues with that viewpoint. Important to Look at all sides as long as they are actually experts.

I decided to hold mine out. Personal choice. Good luck to people that choose to send their kids to school. Hopefully it will prove to be a safe option.

I think parents should do what they feel is best for their kids with regards to sending them back to school. There is some thought that kids whose parents can keep their kids at home should so that those whose parents can't be at home with them can send them to school.

Out of curiosity -for those parents who would choose to send their kids back to school- if the school/school district required you to sign a waiver indicating that you will not hold the school/school district/city/state responsible if your child contracted Covid (and died) would you sign it?

I am sure that those who are as fixed in their shutdown obsession as I am in my reopen obsession will critique the source as being right-leaning, and thus inherently unreliable. But the underlying material comes from MSNBC and from what appear to be nonpartisan "experts". If you care enough, give it a look.

Yes, I’d sign it. I mean, I wouldn’t consider suing the school if my kid died of the flu, and they have a greater chance of that happening, but if it made the school feel better, I’d sign the waiver.

Same. If I sent my kid to school and they got sick, why the hell would I sue the school?

I feel if you send your kids to school, that is your choice should not be able to Hold the School accountable unless they are knowingly infecting people with covid.
