Worse than that, how do you make a bracket and have the two best teams out of 3 bid league meeting in the Sweet 16? I know the committee does some dumb crap sometimes but usually they at least try to balance the brackets by conference to avoid that exact situation. At least have them meeting in the regional.

The goal should be to have a final4 from the same conference for all the conferences that get 4 bids or more, in other words, try to avoid teams from same conference from playing each other as long s possible... ALL CONFERENCES GET TREATED EQUAL, NO PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT BS FOR ONE OR CERTAIN CONFERENCES.

Exactly. These were also good seeds too, #2 and #6. They or the MWC doesn't deserve to be effed like that. You don't screw around top 6 seeds, or the #2 one especially from the same conference. Maybe it was simply a mistake but I think most of this board could draft up better more logical brackets than that and who ever wrote it actually makes money off this garbage.

You seem confused.

BYU is in the WCC with Gonzaga and St. Mary's.

SDST is in the MWC with Utah St.

Finally the NCAA has a rule that doesn't permit conference teams playing until the sweet 16, and until the elite eight if they have played three times including the regular season and tournament. Also the first four teams of any conference picked must be seeded in different regions IF they are all top four seeds.
