Okay dude. This and your first post. You're tweaking the F#$* out! Yes, the NCAA's cancelled winter and spring championships, but anybody who actually pays attention knows that as the weather warms, the virus will be minimized.God willing, there will be a football season this fall. I agree that in the interim we could see a spike. One that might even be alarming. But this country will pull together to do what is necessary to hamper the spread. GTFO of here with your "prevent Trump from cancelling the elections" crap. Did you hear that on VOX or Young Turks?
Lol. No I came up with it myself. I was hijacking my own thread. I realized after posting it someone would call me out and lo and behold. Sorry about that. We're cool. ?
Oh and for what its worth I think this my third thread.

If people think cancelling events is an overreaction then they certainly don’t want to know what measures China had to take to get those numbers. We’ll see if it stays contained as people are allowed back out of their houses.

People that pay attention also realize that there’s a strong possibility that it’ll come back in the fall more widespread

Huh? No, it's not. It;s kin to one of the Common Cold bugs and SARS. It is not a strain of flu. It does have similar symptoms.

Yeah I suspect Americans won’t be okay with having their doors

China locked down their military bases in Wuhan area 30 days before it went public. China is evil. Demand that American companies de-couple from China. They do not have our or the worlds best interest at heart. You mad, don't blame Trump. Blame China complacency. They do not want to be good world citizen.

The corrupt WHO is a big part of the current problem. This could have been nipped in the bud much sooner if WHO officials hadn't rubber-stamped the propaganda coming from the CCP.

Remember this January 14 gem tweet from WHO:

"Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China."

Why didn't our gazillion dollar funded intelligence agencies know about this? They would at the very least have known that military bases were being locked down, and certainly would have tried to figure out why, which shouldn't be that difficult given their resources.

They did know and they reported the risk in December and again in January. The warnings were ignored by the current administration. You can’t blame our intelligence agencies when their reports are ignored

So tell me what you think should have been done? You must have some ideal if you think the President ignored the warnings? I see this type of crying from people all the time but yet when asked to explain their reasons with what should be done...

they shut up. You going to be one of those that just complain about the President on anything? I will wait for your detail answer on what the President could have done different in Dec and Jan.

Before you answer let me give you a little background to work on. The President stopped flights from China in late Jan. When he did this China had reported 1,300 cases and around 190 deaths. The world outside of China had reported 100 total cases.

So come on and tell us all what else the President should have done. Surely CNN has told you? Hell how many people called the President a racist for stopping flights from China. Where you one of those that used racist? Biden said he wouldnt have stopped the flight. So I guess we all should be lucky he's not the President. Of course he wouldnt know it, if he was.
