We all hope Dr. F is wrong with his 10 times more powerful statement, that would equate to 200k US deaths (10*20k flu deaths). We have 12k world deaths at this point.

Starting to learn some things about good ole Dr F that do not exactly raise the confidence level in what he says

Uh oh. Dr. F contradicted King Gorge and MD is upset. Not to mention Dr. F has been in his current position since the Reagan administration.....but yeah, he's the one with the problem, not the reality TV show host.

RE: Corona Virus
I've found it's hard to keep a 6 foot distance from people in grocery stores. They would push right past me so I re-direct myself down an aisle I have no interest in so I can keep away.

I feel like one of two bar magnets with the same polarity facing each other, and one magnet pushes the other away if it gets a little too close.

Apparently some people don't understand the concept of 6 feet.

It is not a tough concept, but you are right. Today in Walgreen's 3 people (not related) were within 2 feet of each other. I just shook my head and walked out using an empty isle.

RE: Corona Virus
Seriously, the amount of "celebrities" who are testing positive is ridiculous. This thing has got to be everywhere and those who can afford or have enough symptoms are coming back with positive tests. Too bad we didn't take things seriously like Korea, who made testing readily available and even developed apps to help people know where to avoid. I truly believe our current administration was more concerned about the stock market taking a dive with more positive tests, and was just hoping that it would go away. In the end they ended up killing the markets by their lack of action.

I'm also not sure why Trump even goes to the press conferences. Pence and Fauci should be the two at the podium. Trump goes out there and makes statements that need to be corrected as soon as the Dr. and Pence speak. At some point I am sure Trump is going to throw Pence under the bus, only question is how soon.

Trump wanted 2 things: to hope it didn't affect the stock market; and to minimize the number of people testing positive within the United States territory. That's apparently all he cared about - because those would reflect on him personally.

Fauci shows more leadership in one interview than Trump has in the past 4 years.

It is everywhere, yet most don't even know they have it. I am 100 percent convinced now this virus was a measure to ruin the economy, it is just plain as day to me now. Right now the threat of the virus is not even close to the threat of the economic damage. The US citizens wont stand for this for more than another week or two, they just won't. The damage from the virus would have to be much much greater than this to sacrifice economic livelihood which for many is essential to sustain life. The stock market is going to crash today, and crash hard. Id guess DOW plunges to low 16s at close today. I do think this will be a wakeup call to many, as if to say "What in the hell are we doing to ourselves?" There is no way the Dems can stretch this out until November, they just won't be able to

RE: Corona Virus
Trump had a ALL CAPS TWEET last night essentially saying he's contemplating letting people die to save his economy. MD then has that same tune today. Remember when Benghazi was considered a "Crisis"?

The idea that Democrats, media and ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD are coordinating an effort to destroy the WORLD economy until the November elections is insane. Rather than be objective and see that Trump is in over his head and not believing the world we live in today is different than it was 2 weeks ago, the Trump cult will continue to find it's conspiracy theories to defend the madman. It really is fascinating to see the cult defend the guy until the end. In many ways it's similar to how the Nazis defended Berlin even when they knew the city was about to fall to the Russians. The human brain, when refusing to believe the truth, will do crazy things. I really believe that they will support him, even if he gives up on saving thousands of American lives.

Why should we need a stimulus package? Trump said he has the situation under control and that we would be at 0 cases by last week.

I'd like to know what's in the stimulus package. If the Dems don't like it, it's probably because it doesn't direct the money to the people that need it most.

RE: Corona Virus
The Trump cult is really a different world. This crisis is difficult for them to comprehend. On one hand it is a global hoax designed by the democrats to destroy the economy, on the other hand it is a real threat that democrats aren't taking seriously. The biggest problem is the news cycle isn't turning, which has benefited Trump since he announced his candidacy. This isn't going anywhere, and it is not because the democrats were able to concoct a scheme, but it is the biggest crisis this country has seen in 100 years.

Trump should be a leader, realize the economy ain't coming back and make some hard decisions. State governors have been for weeks, he's waiting for something to happen to deflect. I feel bad for Pence, as he will be the scapegoat when all is said an done. People like MD will love to hate him soon enough.
