The 19 highest future non-conference football game guarantees in FBS
ULM making bank...surprised to not see any other SBC teams on this list but that's probably a good thing meaning we are booking more winnable money games.

We'd play Georgia for less than $1.9M and we'd sell more tickets than any other G5 that they could get, but they won't schedule us as long as Kirby is the coach IMO. We used to do an every four year rotation. But that was done as soon as Kirby took over.

It was ACTUALLY done when they had to go to OT to beat us.

Even Richt wouldn't have wanted to play us after that.

Georgia is hardly scheduling a cupcake OOC schedule lately. Kirby Smart isn't afraid of scheduling GS. More likely GS just doesn't fit into their current strategy. They have been schedule home and home games with elite programs like Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma. They always play Georgia Tech but otherwise they are looking for strong SOS programs and one "cupcake" against a less successful (sorry ULM) G5 or FCS team. GS just doesn't fit the right niche.

Bama is the program that should be ashamed of their OOC scheduling. They won't sign home and homes and continue to play Western Carolina on a fairly regular basis....a low tier FCS. Pittiful.

With USF@Texas in there... (1) Does much of the AAC take payday games? (2) If so, why don't we see more on this list?

Never said it was about fear or being afraid. Never said they scheduled light. I simply siad they won't schedule us anymore. It's about learning from his mentor Lord Saban and not allowing the instate G5 to have ANY opportunity (regardless of how small the probability is) to get a leg up. I didn't even say that I blamed him. I would be pissed if we scheduled Mercer or Kennessaw State for the same reasons.

Yep. I stand corrected. I shouldn't have made assumptions about your stance. I've heard enough fans of both GS and App make "fear" based comments about the in-state rivals. I don't believe it's fear, but rather a back-handed type of respect. I understand it but it still sucks. LOL

We dodged a bullet when we opened 2018 vs. KSU. They were a playoff team and we were legitimately terrible overall. Would be a really bad memory without a dose of Dan Ellington helping us out, and as it was playing out, it seemed like a complete mistake in scheduling.
