One thing nobody mentioned in this thread was the defensive play of the year. Aggie leadoff hitter hit a shot between 3rd and short that looked like a sure single, but Trei Cruz made a great backhand stop. Even then we assumed it was a hit, but Trei made an incredible throw from deep in the hole to nip the runner.

Concur -- it was a shot in the hole and even my A$M guest at the game said it was a fantastic play (as he should have).

So, what are we going to do with all the extra time we'll have now that the games have been cancelled? Sharpen up our Haiku?
