I hope Ivy players can win their petition to get their conference tourney back. This hysteria has crossed the line and is officially ridiculous.

As much as I love sporting events, I'd prefer over-reaction to under-reaction, tbh.

It looks like Dewine may have just been asking nicely yesterday before throwing the hammer down. It appears he will be releasing an order that the NCAA tourney games in Ohio will be played without fans.

It will be a long time before the flu is eradicated. I don't see it ever going away completely. This age we are in, it is something else

It's just going to be played without fans. NCAA just released the below statement.

It is unless you are 80 or over , or have an underlying condition. Average age of death is around 80, that's the AVERAGE

You have a valid point. If you are under 80, never go around anyone over 80, and never go around anyone who goes around anyone over 80, then it is basically the Flu. So all those people. I pray for your family's sake that your the oldest living member.

No joke, one of the Miami Hawk Talk fans was cited as a source in the student paper for Chuck Martin's contract extension announced this week (he got from a FOIA request).

The NBA has suspended the season.

Only a matter of time now until the remainder of the MAC tourney and the Big Dance get canceled...

Yes, all it would take is one player or personnel member among 68 schools to test positive and derail the tournament at any stage. There is no option now but cancellation.

There was serious concerns Fred Hoilberg had it last night. Test results came back and he had influenza instead.

NCAA is next. Hope they cancel now and not wait until all 68 teams have arrived at their opening round destinations!
