41-35 at half... Blew a big lead, and WMU cut it to 4. Luckily Marreon hit a contested three before the break. He has 18 points. Knapke and Marreon have 2 fouls

41-37 at the half. Wow. Good thing MJ hit that three at the end.

They got away from what was working.

51-34... 10-0 run to start the half. Keshaun can't get his distance down. Banked in a three. Also has airballed both long and short. Marreon has NBA range.

His gyro is way off. Ya gotta believe reversion to the mean at some point. Don't let this one slip away, and see what happens in Cleveland. He could be a sleeper. I think he can be a scorer, but can't hit the floor if he fell off a chair.

He had 24 in an early game this year. Howard maybe? Robert Morris? He can definantly score when he is feeling himself.

One of those crafty slippery type of guys when they want to drive, but can beat you with the jump shot too, and eye for the floor. I think we will like him going forward.

Wow that turned out close. But good to see the Rockets head to Cleveland.

So many yucky stretches. Willie willed the team tonight. Marreon went quiet the final ten mins. Littleson did virtually nothing on the offensive end. Our fourth scorer is always so few and far between... Give it to Flowers for knocking down shots. He is very good. Now it's our third chance at the Brown Birds. Come on!

Reported on twitter that Knapke broke his own single season blocks record tonight. Has 61 on the season.

Just curious, have we lost in the first round ? An away game at EMU maybe?

We've had plenty of byes and early exits, but it's satisfieng to win a game prior to the qtrs.

The Rockets always make it interesting. But I have give some credit to Western Michigan, especially Michael Flowers who would not let his team quit and rallied his team in both halves to make it a game. Hats off to the Big 3 (Jackson Jackson and Knapke), who combined for 65 points, 28 rebounds and 10 assists. The 3 of them played outstanding tonight. That was the most aggressive I’ve seen Willie Jackson play on the offensive end! That tip in that put Toledo up by 3 was huge, but was typical of how relentless Jackson played tonight. However, even though we got 6 points off our bench which for Toledo this year is pretty good, we are going to need more than 5 points from our other 2 starters (Littleson (0) and Saunders (5). Anything can happen, just look at Miami beating Buffalo tonight. I like how Toledo is playing right now, especially our Big 3. Play like they’ve been playing the past 3 weeks, other than the NIU game, and they can make things very interesting in Cleveland.
