Can’t fathom the Foley women’s collap
Never have I seen a Joe Foley team get worse as the season progressed. Somebody wasn’t getting the recruiting done the past year or so. Sad. If Joe can’t make them better by the end of the season, then the talent wasn’t there to begin with.

I have been told that Joe considers the current crop of freshman his best recruiting class. He basically says the only problem with them is they are freshman. At this point we simply can't score. We shot less the 20% from the field today. May be somewhat of a longshot, but I still wouldn't bet against him winning 2 games in Lafayette next week.

Foley's first four seasons weren't much to write home about, but at least they were competitive. Our current team is the WORST ever, even worse than our previous coach's 4 seasons. We were good for 5 minutes today, but totally froze out the rest of the game. Even so, I'll never back away from Foley's Crew; after all, they're Little Rock's Team, good, bad or downright ugly!

Whoops, my math is bad. I heard the Ladies shot 11 for 54 on the way home. Was thinking that was under 20%. It actually was 20.4%. So they made 11 field goals the entire game. That's less than 3 per quarter. Won't win many with shooting like that.

They were not competitive the first 3 years.
LR won 10 games his first 2 seasons.
13 his 3rd season.
He won 21 games his fourth season.
11 this season but 9-9 in conference. His first 3 years we did not win more than 5 sbc games in a season. Definitely not the worst team ever. We all know he plays an extremely tough non conference schedule. I will take 9-9 in a down season any time.
I would certainly write home about 21 wins.
We have 2 seniors, 1 junior and a boat load of freshmen and we still finished tied for 5th in SBC. Tied for FIFTH. Boat load of FRESHMEN. Top tier finish. No, this is not Foley's worst team.

Just looked at the box score. Other than Kyra's 6 field goals, the other players on the team had a grand total of 5 buckets.

Just surprised we got worse toward the end of the year. Foley's teams don't do that. Of course, the season is not over. It really would not shock me if we win the 2 games in Lafayette.
