Man, it would be great to mess a few betting lines up - starting tomorrow!

It would be good to win against the spread (and I'm done predicting for the year-I'll go out at a 75 plus % rate a champion). I hope that we come out and play a great game. It's a shame that Dodd can't play because he was coming on. We need 1 more win y'all. It's been a fun ride the past few week for me. Personally, I hope that ride continues win or lose with our present coach. He's fired up and I LOVE it. You have to have a pulse and love the game. He does and I want him long term win or lose. Now if we lose bad, fire his arse....just kidding. He's proven to me and most of y'all that he is capable. We shall see what the AD thinks but he's a pretty smart NC guy and there was a reason to give him a shot IMHO. I'd like to know soon.

A bunch of us did pick the Dub in this one, but I can see the other side too. Drexel wasn't ready for the pressure at the Dub but did lead at half. If they can slow the game down, it's their game. If the Hawks can score and I think that they can against Drexel, they should be able to dictate pace.

It's funny that everybody was on the Hens side against C of C. I tell ya what, the Hens could do some serious damage in this thing. I didn't pick them in our pickings, but I could see them going all the way. And, that is the one team that I'm fearing next year for our Hawks.

One last thing, Go Hawks!! Go have a great time playing ball and advancing if it's our time to.

Really no good feel for this one. Drexel is a better team with more talent. They are dreadful (being nice) away from the DAC. Drexel did practice one time in this arena during the season (on their way to W&M), so maybe that helps them? As much as I want Drexel to win, and I think they should, this team has not shown any ability to win on the road. So it is hard to have any confidence in winning this one regardless of what points to a "should be" win. To me the smart money would be on UNCW moneyline.

I wouldn't say Drexel has more talent than UNCW at all from what I saw. Drexel has Wynter and Butler who is very good, but that's about all I saw from them. Perhaps I'm wrong. UNCW has an advantage in team speed when I looked at them play one another and has several guards/wings that are solid to good. Drexel did run a beautiful offense and if they hit their shots, will win this game.

If UNCW can get to the rim as easily as the last game, UNCW will win this game. If not, Drexel will win. And, don't be surprised if the Dragons go to a zone today. They had zero answer for Phillips and for Okauru on the dribble drive. Spiker knows this and will have to zone them you would think. I've done some coaching and I would if I were him.

Including one vs Cleveland State that was one of the ugliest and bad basketball on both sides I have seen. We shot 27% and they shot 37% for the game with a final score of 47-46. Neither team played great D either.

That was a completely different team than we have now. Just sayin. Sorry, but if Burke were HC then, I don’t see us losing that game.
