Looks like AST is going down again. I probably just lost my USCBronco screen name too. Man I hate that. :bang:

(knock on wood) We haven't had a single site/server crash on our new host. We have never lost member info (even if something were to happen... we backup the entire site nightly).

We've been running non-stop and problem free for 9 months, with the exception of that little DNS mishap last week.

A poster claiming to be the president of the company that owns AST has posted a message stating that the software on that board will be upgraded to a php version in a matter of days.

I hope they do it, the change is long overdue. If it includes an ignore feature, that would solve 75% of the problems I have had with AST. The other 25% cannot be solved by software alone.

For the record, I have not said anything critical about AST here that I have not also said over there. Lately, I have enjoyed going back and forth between this board and that one and will continue to do so unless one or the other becomes intolerable.<a href='http://www.allsportstalk.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/021331.html' target='_blank'>Here is the thread</a>
