One hour left for prognosticators to get their picks in.
Bragging rights, a $100 gift card, a 6 pack of your favorite brew, and an assortment of the world’s most delicious snacks to the winner.

And speaking of snacks, check out team manager “Snacks” Lee getting his 15 minutes of fame in his first and only game on the court.
The best part is when he forgets he has to play defense as he soaks in the crowds adoration. 03-lmfao

RE: CAA tourney prediction contest
Hart, here are my picks at 5:40 PM Saturday. If I win, give the money to charity and I'll buy you a beer at the next JMU sporting event next fall.

Winners:
Saturday - Drexel, JMU
Sunday - Hofstra, Charleston, W&M, Towson
Monday - Hofstra, W&M
Tuesday - Hofstra and 150 points

The one pick I'm not terribly comfortable with is Towson, but it's the first thing that came to mind. NE is really down this year, but Coen is a good coach. Towson will ugly up that game.

After 4 games, Dan10 has the only perfect bracket.

Good - I wasn't understanding all the W&M love on this board... I will never root for anything tribe... thanks in no small part to their #1 dbag... no names but happy to see them continue their no big dance streak for another year.

After the quarterfinals, Dan10 leads with 5 of 6 correct so far.

The CAA will have an ugly final. Either #7 Elon or #6 Northeastern will make it.
Commish Dantoni is probably cleaning out his shorts as he realizes the semis and the finals will generate very little revenue. Maybe A few Delaware fans will travel there, but Hofstra, Elon, Northeastern? Nope.

#2, #3, and #4 are gone gone gone.

In fairness, W&M was only ever his shot at good attendance so without them even in the semis, has to hurt especially with the price gouging they are attempting to do for the small arena.

Rookie mistake on my part... and it seems on many people's parts. Never pick the Tribe to win ever.

RE: CAA tourney prediction contest
After the semifinals Dan10 still leads with 6 correct, but tonight’s game matters. If northeastern wins it goes down to the points tiebreaker.

D’antonio has to be depressed. The semis drew less than the quarterfinals with only 1800 bothering to show for Hofstra/Delaware and Elon/Northeastern. Could be worse tonight even though an automatic bid is on the line.
Maybe they should revive the slogan from more than a decade ago. CAA basketball...it’s pretty good.

RE: CAA tourney prediction contest
Based on the scoring so far in DC plus both regular season games between the 2. I like my chances with how Hofstra is playing right now. 152 vs 128. So that would mean 140 would be a tie, anything under 140 would go to SN08 and 141 and above would go to me, unless its price is right rules (which was not stated). Hopefully the game is played at pace like both of the previous matchups, just in case NU pulls out the win.

Previous games: 74-72, 75-71

I love that they decided to use the Super Ninendo MarioKart "victory" song too. Nice touch, lol.

So what's the deal? Northeastern could beat Hofstra tonight in the title game exactly as I predicted and I still don't win this thing because I missed some of the earlier rounds?

1 point per pick sucks.

Tell me someone from JMU has a shot a winning this thing, or do we need to watch other schools win yet another men's BB-related championship?

CAA tourney prediction contest
Should have an addendum as to predicted attendance.

Does the DeeCee sports and trepidation center even get 500 paid people for this epic showdown on a Tuesday night?

I’ll go with over, with about 794 tickets punched, not press etc. Fans.

Unless I missed someone's as I scrolled this morning, JMU is out. Again. Maybe a new arena will change your fortunes.

Just saw this fun fact as I am watching Hofstra and Northeastern. The seventh seed has only won the CAA tournament once. Of course the 7th seed ECU Pirates defeated the Dukes in the championship game.
