-- Vick and Dave's kettle corn glazed pecans & almonds
-- Green chile burger, ultimate nachos, chesseburger
-- Papa Johns pepperoni & cheese pizza
-- Snowie Snow Cones
-- La Ristra (featuring New Mexican Chile dishes ranging from mild to spicy).

I heard that Huskie Stadium concessions will be featuring sno-cones for our November night games. They said they wanted to have something that won't run out.

Not only that, they won't melt either.

NIU probably needed to add the concessions while we were still getting a crowd. How many businesses would want to set up shop at Huskie stadium for current attendance levels?

Of course it would be nice to have an expanded menu, but ya know, personally I am happy with a limited standard menu - hot dogs, burgers, nachos, pizza, etc. But when you are going to have a limited menu, MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT RUN OUT OF WHAT YOU'RE SELLING! That shouldn't be that difficult, but they seem to run out of something almost every game. (Maybe they should stop throwing hot dogs in the stands so they'll have enough for the paying customers!)

Same applies to Basketball games, they ran out of $2 Naturdays at Victor E. Pub less than 10 minutes into the game last night and still kept advertising them throughout the game.

The fact that anyone in that arena last night, outside of the frat boys in the dog pound, give on flying iota about Naturdays is beyond me. I was told in a different thread about Victor E. Pub that, in response to fan suggestions, they had improved their beer selection.

If Naturdays is what is considered an "improvement" on a beer selection, it 1) tells you all you need to know about what the "selection" was before the improvement and 2) what the people in charge of these things (Victor E. Pub, concessions, etc) know about how to entice people to actually spend money.

I had every intention of buying a beer in V.E.P. but there was no way I was going to buy any of the trash they had for sale. Instead, I bought a 4 dollar bottle of water from the Kishwaukee baseball team.

New Mexico? Wait...I've heard of that...what country is that in??

It'll be the first Huskie game ever postponed due to a dust storm.
