RE: What happened to Markquis?
I couldn’t tell but the announcers said he was holding the back of his leg and limping a little. I figure he tweaked his hamstring and Darrell just pulled him and did not take any chances.

RE: What happened to Markquis?
I never saw him pull up lame and grab his leg like he did the last time. As the refs were calling a foul Marquis limped slightly to the bench. That is all I saw. Hopefully it is just a tweak an 11 days rest will have him up to speed.

RE: What happened to Markquis?
Obviously, his loss would be devastating. I really hope we get some good news in a couple of days. We never seem to get any substantial information about our injured players. We have never gotten good information on the injuries sustained by Ryan, Evans, or Kris. I have no idea if Kris or Evans have been able to workout or how their rehab is going. No real idea what Kris' situation is at all. I really hope we aren't given the line "they're day to day" on Jaczec and Markquis. We as fans deserve to know what is going on, even if the news isn't great. Not knowing anything is the most frustrating thing of all.

RE: What happened to Markquis?
Even if they come back, it still could hurt us, because a team's rhythm and chemistry is a fragile thing. Practicing with an unfamiliar point guard won't help it.

RE: What happened to Markquis?
An athletic department staff member told me today that both Jaczec and Markquis will be fine. I typically get vague or evasive answers, when I ask about injuries, so this makes me feel quite a bit better.
