Houston vs Cincinnati
For the past 5 years this game has turned into quite a rivalry with each team winning 5 games. With at least one team ranked every time, and both ranked 4 times.

Looking forward for the future match ups.

Agreed, Houston definitely looks like the strongest team right now to make a run. Their guard/wings are phenomenal and their big men play good, physical defense along with rebounding well on both ends of the court.

Mills, Sasser, and Hinton are going to be really annoying to deal with

Houston has the edge on talent after this year. I like their Freshman over Memphis right now, but who is to say that the Memphis class does not get it together.

Sampson can coach rings around penny - not even close - Memphis will not maximize its potential, until / if penny matures as a coach, or they move on, once the bloom falls off the rose

Harvey and Davenport are both top notch athletes that missed a ton of time with injuries - Harvey missed about 9 months after hurting his ankle last year. I bet he has a massive jump as a sophomore and the incoming class is really solid. Tari Eason is going to be a stud - no idea why the pac 12 wasn’t all over him.

I don't consider it a rivalry yet. We need a really deep tournament run to make up for an entire generation of irrelevance. Cincy was pushing far more weight until a couple years ago.

We need a couple. Final four number six is long overdue. So is a natty.

I saw some of the Houston-Cincy game and was VERY impressed with the Cougars. And, yes, Kelvin Sampson is a very good coach.

Cincy's rival is ECU. Yours is Tulsa.

And you're going to find that once you get back to the old neighborhood next year that those once cool guys have all turned into peeked-in-high-school geeks.

So yeah, gimme good ol' ECU.

C'mon. ECU is not Cincy's rival. Xavier is their top rival, and Dayton is right up there.

In AAC basketball, Temple has been a rival of Cincy for some time, dating back to when Temple was A-10 and Cincy was Big East (Chaney vs. Huggins)

What always surprised me, when we played in the Big EAst is how pedestrian the attendance was. Other than Syracuse, most of the teams were around 7000 for a game.
