NASCAR going to a single lug wheel next season.

Next thing you know you will see breaking news release saying that they are going to fueling rigs and doing away with the cans.

Or that they are going to 18-inch wheels.

Now Jim France has moved the Busch Clash to the road course at DIS.

The man has spent too many years involved with sports cars that he does not comprehend why NASCAR got as big as it got.

The 2019 Daytona 500 was seen by more people on TV than the entire 2019 IMSA Weather Tech Series, Pilot Challenge, Prototype Challenge, Ferrari Challenge, and Porsche GT3 Cup seasons combined.

Yet Jim France wants to change the Cup series to be more like IMSA.

It's a goddamned exhibition race that nobody cares about. I doubt they had more than 20K in the stands.

High time NASCAR uses the road course at Daytona.

Way more than 20k in the stands from where I was sitting, but you were too busy watching archery to watch the Clash. I enjoyed it and look forward to the new format. Nascar has raced on the Daytona road course before so it's time to do it again. They need to add some lighting to the infield but it's nothing they can't fix.

I have never watched the 24 hrs but I do know those cars run headlights. But I did hear Nascar radio interview Gordon, the Dinger, Lagano and Jr and all of them have ran the 24 and every one of them said lighting improvements would need to be made unless Nascar approved headlights for the Clash. Should we believe you or the drivers when it comes to the lighting?

Me of course. I am pre snowflake racing. Hell Lagano can run over everyone in bright lights or darkness.
