RE: MVP & Coach of the Year?
Jackson from UTSA probably deserves it, those numbers are ridiculous. He may be less efficient than Hamlet but that is to be expected with a worse supporting cast around him and almost all of the defensive focus on him. If MVP has to be awarded to a player from a contending team then Hamlet is my choice but overall Jackson is the pretty clear cut pick IMO.

Not sure our coach is the no brainer pick either, I suppose if we win the tournament he would be though.

Where will Jackson and Wallace play next season as grad transfers? I am sure both will be highly sought after...

I like the UNT coach, seemed like a good coach, from the very first time I saw him and would be COY if I was picking. The one thing I dont like but most coaches do it....

another player screws up the walk on(?) (the white kid) gets screamed at if he's on the court. Saw that happen a few times this year. Stansbury will do that also especially with his GTs...one of those mess up a freshmen will get pulled and talked to.

One of my pet peeves when a coach is scared to chew out his 'stars'

Mac will chew on any player's rear. I've seem him yell at starters too. Maybe the star players just make fewer mistakes?

Remember McCasland turned the leader (Roosevelt Smart) of our CBI championship team into a bench player. Our coach does what is best for the team, and his players understand that.

Hamlett & MacClasland - MVP & COY

Erica Ogwumike & Nikki McCray on the ladies side.

These choices seem pretty uncontroversial to me unless Marshall fans think Elmore deserves POY?

Someone on our board hinted at Georgetown as a landing spot for Jackson
