We get the smart boy stuff about NIT clinching, but regardless, I always want wins and still think 4 more wins could do it. 5 more is a lock as that would mean winning the AAC or losing in the finals

If we win 3 more games before Selection Sunday, we're still on the bubble. That would put us at 23 overall wins and 12 AAC wins. Historically, that gets us somewhere between 25%-67% in the NCAA (based upon other AAC teams).

If we win 4 more games, we should be in. That puts us at 24 overall and 13 AAC wins. Every AAC team that has ever done that has gotten into the NCAA.

Sure there are Quadrant nuances. There is also the possibility that DJ could be back, which works in our favor - along with a soft bubble this year.

So our magic number is now 4.
