Vogt wasn't helping with the defense anyway.

Season is basically comes down winning the next two and earning enough quad 1 and 2 wins in conference tournament so the finals doesn’t matter.

Conference championship game won't matter since it is played so late (which is good because I don't feel we are deep enough to win three games in three days).

Agree. Still think we are last team in status after this loss, but can't lose next three for sure, maybe four. Unfortunately, it has come down to Cats having to almost win out. I'm not sure we can get past USF Tuesday. This team looks bad.

3 points in the last 10 minutes of game action. All the issues on the glass, stretches where we don't score still kill us. How does Jarron not step up and get a couple baskets or get to the foul line in a stretch like this?

TEAM REBOUNDING is needed. It must be practiced. Sadly it is not. Not Brannen's style. Tough UC teams that started with Huggins era has been officially over since the Ohio State game. I was at that game and watched Vogt, Sorolla, and Tre (playing out of position) tossed around.

The offensive rebounding is soo lopsided. Made up for it in the first half making shots but then the shots stopped falling.
Last 4 mins of the first half are carrying over into a hangover for the second half.
As much as I wanted the W today I just don't see how the Cats can come back from down 15 at Houston like they did at home.
Really disappointing but not unexpected. In the end Houston is more talented.
If this one gets out of hand I might concede the game, play the subs, take the beat down and rest the starters to go to USF and win on tuesday.

This is the dilemma encapsulated. Most of our bench has half positive qualities and half negative qualities to the point where you are literally subbing in and out different positives and negatives. Vogt brings rim protection and interior scoring but lacks athleticism to compete with athletic bigs. Dou brings athleticism but lacks discipline on offense and defense and has poor BB IQ. Jaevin brings shooting but no defense, Davenport/Harvey bring defense/rebounding but less offense...

His heel is toast. He knows he’s got 8 minutes of that in him so he waits til the final 8 minutes. That’s my take

Because he isn’t that good this season. Gives Vaughn a run for the senior season disaster award.

I will say the AAC refs are calling the game like they know UH is who the conference wants to win.
Alll kinds of contact on UH defending and very few whistles for UC.
And touch fouls called on UC defending.
