Dodd has had injury since January. He will not play Saturday and may be gone for the season

It's amazing how good we look with Phillips in the game and how bad we can look when he goes out both on offense and defense.

It's actually amazing how much Burke has been able to do with the puzzle pieces he has had to work with.

That has been completely discounted by several posters.

A big coaching change to this team is getting aways from the three ball except for our best three point shooters.

He has shown more courtside imagination than we have seen from our coaching staff in a LONG time. McGrath had none, and Keatts showed very little ability or willingness to adjust to changed circumstances on the court. And Buzz/Benny? Pffft....

Something as simple as sticking with Boggs tonight when he's got the hot hand.

The team was going nowhere fast before Burke, and we are 5-5 after him taking over - with a depleted roster and with multiple wins against upper division teams.

Announcers pointed out the most significant change to the team. Accepting roles. Our best scorers are scoring, our best 3 point shooters are taking the 3 point shots, our best rebounders are hitting the boards, our best defenders are playing our opponents best offensive players and every player looks better as a result. Linssen is learning to defend without fouling as I think he played his most minutes tonight. Phillips is for sure the guy that makes this team go.

We caused 3 shot clock violations tonight. That and our aggressive rim-attacking style stood out tonight. Okauru, Phillips and Jaylen Sims doing what they do best; scoring at the rim or getting to the charity stripe.

I don't think anyone on the team has more fun on the court than Phillips. The smile on his face while playing is amazing. He is quite a joy to watch play. Keep having fun young man!

It's very noticeable. Maybe Burke has as much fun though. I

Burke is a roller coaster of emotions lol. He looks like he's in agony when we make a mistake. He laid into Jaylen Sims pretty good on the sideline in the first half after he had back to back defensive lapses. Guess what? it didn't happen again.

I actually though Gadsden ran the offense better than he has all season when he was forced to play PG tonight. We had a lot of trouble when him and Shy were both off the court in foul trouble though.

Better, but not like Shy. We were making a run and went up 9 in the second half when Phillps sat for a rest. We immediately dropped to a 4 point lead and made it to a timeout. Phillips came back in and we went right back to 9 and never looked back as we got up 15. He's just at a different level. Makes our offense go and causes all kinds of problems on defense. He's got POY potential written all over him by the time he graduates.

100 % agree. I was talking about Shy having POY potential with the person I went to the game with tonight. Glad it's not just us!

What’s this you say? Someone other than Shy can run the offense? You mean a D1 guard can dribble the ball? Who’d a thunk it!

Facts will always get in your way. Look at the first half offense where Shy only played 7 minutes and look at the second half where he played all but three minutes. If he had to sit this game, we'd have lost.

Burke is 5-3 with Phillips healthy and playing a full game.
