Ok to cheer for Cincy today?
They play Wichita today and if they beat them its one step closer for us to move into the top 4. I'm slightly puking in my mouth, but Go Bearcats?!

Not sure who we want to win. If cincy loses this we could potentially jump them both although I don’t know how tiebreakers would work. We have the game left vs Wichita to give them another loss and cincy could drop one more. I guess Wichita losing creates the highest chance of a positive result for us since then we could beat them and still lose @houston and be above them.

I think we are currently 6th. Have same conference record as Wichita St and SMU, be we lost to them both.

We play both teams. Schedules:
Memphis: @SMU, @Tulane, Wichita State, @Houston
SMU: Memphis, Wichita State, @UCF, @USF
Wichita State: Temple, @SMU, @Memphis, Tulsa
Tough schedule for us.

Yes it is. I mean SMU already beat us; Tulane almost beat us, Wichita St beat us, and Houston wants revenge.

Aki Collins was on J&J last week and had an interesting perspective on conference tourney. He said it's not all bad to play in the first round - especially with a young team. Reason being, you get a "warm-up" game in the first round. So guys aren't sitting around and then jump into a tough game first game.
Makes some sense. However with our tendency to play to the level of competition, I'm not sure there is such thing as a warm-up game.

I would rather risk the first round loss to potentially benefit from having played one less game when we reach the semi final and final.
