This for sure. He looks extremely uncomfortable handling the ball to the point of giving the ball up to Tre who's more comfortable handling the ball at 6'8 than KW is as a guard.

Dude very well may win back to back CPOY trophies.
If he's able to will us to a win in Houston, it's in the bag.
If he wins POY with his stats from this year that's embarrassing for our conference. He has been terrible this year. 39% shooting, only 15ppg, almost 4 turn overs a game., nothing amazing defensively or rebounding.
If that wins it people need to stop acting like our conference isn't mid major.
Jarron last year was one of the best in basketball but he's not close to the same player.
This is like the most Cincinnati thing ever. Like Reds fans who bitched about Votto in his prime for taking too many walks and not producing with enough style.
Talk to the coaches and fans of the teams we play against. They often have a much higher opinion of Cumberland than many of our very knowledgeable fans.
UC wins about 11 games this year without Cumberland.
Even when hurt, he’s one of the best players in the AAC. Next year could really suck without him.
I'm not saying Cumberland isn't a great player. But his play this year hasn't been great. If his play is the best of any player in conference for this year then that's not good for our conference.

Ya, I thought he was too, so I just looked it up. He was 1st team AP, USA Today, The Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report and NBCSports.com, but not enough other publications for consensus first team.

Jarron isn’t even first team all conference worthy this year or the team MVP.

He'll be first team all conference due to his PPG and assist total while playing on one of the top teams in the league. I don't think he's got a chance at team MVP; that's clearly Tre.

Let's see what Jarron does over the next three games.

17 points 6.2 assists and 4.2 boards is pretty strong in conference. last year he was 19.8 points, 5.4 boards, 3.5 assists.
and this year he's doing it on 11.4 shots a game vs 15.1 last year.
once conference play started jarron has been good. as i posted earlier his eFG%, TS%, AssistRate, and free throw rate are all up this year in conference compared to last year.
early year jarron is really making people forget how dominant he was in conference before he injured himself again at the end of the 1st wichita state game.

I would probably put him on the 2nd team, 1st with a strong finish.

Keith's problem is decision making. If you're going to penetrate then you have to commit to it. To often he puts the ball on the floor and isn't sure what he's going to do. If you're going to the hoop, you do it without hesitation. He invites guys to get the ball or double him with his hesitation. He doesn't have the body skills JC has to draw defenders in with the dribble and then launch and almost always drawing contact on the backside. You can't use that one on one move in 5 on 5 bball. To much advertising.

I'm pretty sure the last month of Jarron is making people see he's not having a good year. In the month of February (7 games) he's shooting 33% from 2pt, 26% from 3pt, and has only 48 assists to 34 turnovers. He played well in the month of January but the other 3 months of the season he has been bad.
Again, Jarron is a great player and if health I think Jarron would have been much more his norm but he hasn't been good this year overall, especially as of late.
Last year he had a 25 game stretch where he was one of the best players in the country but fell back to earth the last 10. This year he had about an 8 game stretch where he played well but has not been good before or after that.

He learned to shoot in a year. I wonder if you can improve dribbling and decision making with practice? Again not as the primary ball handler or PG as Jarron does, but just some iso situations. Time will tell.
