Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. He spent eight years a heartbeat away. It's addictive to him and his family. It's hard to watch.

It's really fun to trash Rat Pete and the little Oligarch, but it's just sad watching and listening to Biden at this point. He's clearly in severe mental decline and someone needs to step in and mercifully end this.

Well, yes and no. Remember, there's only so much a President can do by himself, by executive order. We have surely seen that. Even then, those orders can be overturned by the courts, which we have also seen. Important for Trump to keep appointing federal judges throughout the year. Then, even if by some travesty, a nutjob like Bernie ever did become President, he'd also need to have BOTH the House AND Senate with a WILLING majority to do his bidding. All of those happening together in this one election is even more remote than Bernie actually being allowed by the Dems to both be their nominee and winning over Trump. yes, I am concerned, but not worried or panicked. If the rep base comes out like it likely will for him, he should be fine as a lot of Dems will likely stay home and/or if they steal it from crazy Bern at the Dem convention, he might go third party which will be the best solution for all as it will likely permanently fracture the current Dem party for decades.
