"Senior Offensive Analyst"--- ok what is that? Is that an O coordinator who calls plays?
But, his experience is impressive. On paper looks like a great guy to add to the coaching staff.

I think advisor is the operative word. It’s become a thing. You can have 10 on field coaches. Advisors/analyst can’t actively coach but can work with coaches.

Bama had 12 last season plus the 4 GA positions. Former head coaches fired and working on buyouts. Former players getting started in coaching (most grunts freeing up real assistants time). And some brought in as coaches in waiting for openings the next season.
