May be the most important game of the year,,,
next against an ASU team that has lost 5 in a row. They may get to break that streak Wednesday, at home, vs. ULM. If we beat ASU, we have 2 "should" win games, at home, against ULM and ULL. Georgia State still has to play the Texas schools, on the road, and GaSou at home. So there is a good chance they will lose a game before we head to Atlanta to end the season. If we win our next 3, and they lose one, we get first place no matter what we do in Atlanta. Every year I attempt to figure out all the scenarios with regard to possible seeding. It never plays out the way I expect. This year it is less complicated, and appears to come down to us getting the one or two seed unless we completely fall apart. Still, you just never know what will happen in a league where any team can beat any other team. A game for all the "marbles" in Atlanta could be a good experience for our young team heading into the conference tournament. However, I'd much prefer it be a meaningless game.
