Larkin saved Miami tonight, game could have easily been 4-2

Hoping we come out tomorrow and route them. This tie isn’t going to help us

Burgeron seems to have our number the last year. We lost both games to bugs last year and Miami just “beat” us.

We had the 2-0 lead just didn’t protect it. We kind of played down to Miami’s level tonight, no way they are a tie against us

They looked like crap all night. Lucky to get one point against the worst team in the conference.

Disappointing...

But every weekend on the road can leave you vulnerable to a hot goalie and a lack of consistency.

The goalie wasn't that hot. We were just disorganized all night. Looked like our first game of the season. We did not look like we were prepared to play tonight.

Yeah, I thought Bussi kept us in it tonight. Totally outplayed by Miami after the early 1st period goal.

RE: Western Michigan at Miami
I would guess we'll get about 9 more points in the regular season......6 from Miami and 3 out of 12 from NoDak/Duluth. Ironically, that would probably still give us home ice. We'd be 50/50 to get to the league playoffs and need to win the title to get in the NCAA.

Very disappointing tonight after a good start. Our normal routine is a big win (5-2 or 6-2) on Friday and then a game like tonight on Saturday. Let's hope for a reversal.

Looks like we moved up a spot to 17 with the tie? Crush them tomorrow and we'll be right in the pairwise mix still.

RE: Western Michigan at Miami
It was a good night in the Pairwise for us, most teams in the cluster ahead of us either lost or where off. And we got help from people we beat. If we win Saturday we likely jump to 15. Reality is still the same. Win the final 3 from Miami and split the Duluth/NoDak series. Then get 3 wins in the tourney.

Inexcusable. Horrible effort. Just embarrassing the way they played....

I hope we come out tonight hot and never look back.

I thought that too last night when McGing scored 1:30 into the game but was wrong.

Officiating was suspect again, that Allison penalty that led to the tying goal was complete bs. Wade was forechecking him and the guy lost an edge and tripped

Wade was a late scratch tonight. Dude just can't stay healthy. Real bummer.

Broncos dominating the 2nd period. A couple of amazing saves by Miami goalie.
