Houston will be #1 real soon , we just got some camera equipment from the Astros and once installed we should be able to predict certain pitches and stuff

Y’all come talk to me when y’all beat the reigning national champs (Oregon State) and then proceed to lose to that years national champ (Michigan) in the College World Series. Or when you have an HOFer like Sandy Koufax.

I’m not sure if this will continue indefinitely, especially when we begin to play better teams. . However, I do not think we will be as bad as these preseason voters did and we are much improved from last year. When we were next to last. The great news about this is that recruiting in baseball for the most part with the really talented players occurs two years prior to the signings. Therefore, our new baseball staff is really recruiting 2022-23 players but also have to continue to recruit 2020-21 and 2021-22 players. If anyone looks at what Eric Wedge and staff has done since he was hired at the end of last May (2019), the progress has been remarkable and maybe, to be fair, there may be a little “fools gold”. Because of his discipline, our team has only 30 players on the current roster and we are allowed 36. It is fair to say that his 30 players would probably run through a brick wall for him.
