RE: Tre Scott
Mick Cronin named Pac-12 coach of the year. Pretty surprising how the season started for him. Pac-12 was down but wow, never seen that coming.
Congrats Mick. Enjoying your replacement as I did you.
GO UCCCCCCCCC.

RE: Tre Scott
Said it halfway through this season, and I'll say it again: Tre is my second favorite Bearcat of all time.

I'm sure he has a great future ahead in whatever career he chooses.

RE: Tre Scott
Tre finished the season averaging a double double, right? When was the last time that happened? Tre has gone down as one of my favorite Bearcats.

RE: Tre Scott
I hope Tre gets a shot at the NBA, but if he doesn't, he stands to make a lot of money in the Euro League -- especially if he continues to develop his outside shot. Agree with others about Tre being high up on my list of all-time favorite Bearcats.

RE: Tre Scott
He’s definitely a class act all the way around! Good luck and way to go down in Bearcat history!

I do feel like we have a new favorite Bearcat every so often after their Junior/Senior year and should hesitate a bit to evaluate. The below is not my ranking but order of time they played in last decade and to me it’s very arguable. I could go back and forth with myself on these Bearcats.

Those 3 forwards especially are neck and neck IMO.

Forwards:
1) Justin Jackson
2) Gary Clark
3) Trevon Scott

Guards:
1) Cashmere Wright
2) Sean Kilpatrick
3) Troy Caupain- Wouldn’t be on my list, but seems like many really appreciate what he did here. Not knocking his career here, but a bit limited athletically.
4) Jacob Evans
5) Jarron Cumberland

For Forwards I have to put:

1. Danny Fortson
2. Jason Maxiell
3. Eric Jocks
4. Bobby Brannen
5. Tre Scott

ALL five of those players were fun to watch! The energy and effort we saw from Tre reminded of Maxiell and Hicks. Those two guys were undersized but could play with the big guys.

RE: Tre Scott
If some coaches get their way, would Tre come back for another season? I do not know how far his education has progressed or how much he cares, but another year with his sisters might appeal to him. Plus could be a good start towards a coaching career.

Tre was working on a graduate degree - don't know which one. If I remember correctly, he red-shirted as a freshman so he already has five years of college.

Oh boy an all time favorite list would be so hard. I was just noting the 3 great forward (Non-True Centers) we’ve had wearing the Bearcat jersey in the last decade.

Agree that Tre's playing style reminds me of Maxiell and Hicks.

But Tre has something they don't have: his leadership, especially in a time of transition.

Also, it says a lot about him that his sisters followed him here to UC. Says a lot about him as a man. Also says a lot about his opinion of UC.
