Where do you get Alo being 6'? I'm pretty sure he us 5'9". That's a big difference.

Auburn has had two different 6' guards just like Alo the past two years and have been extremely successful. The issue with Alo is not his size it is his skill level and the risks he takes.

Alo as a senior is going to be a very good player.

Harper is on an NBA roster this year... Alo is not anywhere near NBA talent.

I do think that he can be an effective player so long as he is not "the guard". He is a role player and those can be immensely valuable in building a sustainable winning program. But if he is the our best guard until he graduates then we will be in trouble...

My point bring up the Auburn guards is it is not a height issue...

Alo is the same height as Chris Paul...Nowhere near the skillset but same height and probably a little thicker. His size is not what is hindering his ability...6' guards can be very effective.

I cant believe he is 6' because that would mean every guard he plays against is 6'7 because clearly they are most of a head taller than he is. So either every guard on every team we have played against is Penny, or ALo is claiming to be 6'.

They can, he can't.

Wizards passed on karl malone to pick this Dude. Mugsy could steal, assist and Bust a Deep Ball.
Tiny Archibal had a decent game for a short Dude, I believe he even won the dunk contest, plus the Dude could Bust from anywhere on the court.

This applies just about as much as the David/Goliath comparison.

You see a Mugsy on our court? I certainly don't.

We dont know yet. Alo is only going to get better.

Hard not to play basketball everyday and not improve some, but you wont see much more improvement. He is just about at his ceiling.

This will be a good one to flag and revisit in 2 years.

Please do. Like I said, there will be some improvement, but he will never be a great college player. Andre Allen, which is good in it's own right.
