Ball handling and decision making is supposed to the strength of diminutive guards so if they're not adequate in that department it magnifies all their other shortcomings and coaches won't bre able to post bigger guards with such succes.

Yea, Tyler hit a 3 late and that's fine n dandy but Memphis would've ran away with this game and others with guards that can finish and dunk at the rim due to their size rather than experiencing such long scoring droughts..

No kidding? This team would look totally different with a Derrick Rose or Russell Westbrook on this team. Of course, but two problems. 1. Very few of those guards exist in the world 2. none of them are on our roster.
I thought this thread was about mental midgets who like t make fun of players.

Having size doesn't mean they have to be Derrick Rose or Westbrook but if that's how you interpreted that then oh well.

Penny's teams at East dominated because of their size and length. Derrick Rose wasn't on those squads...

It was the comment about dunking at the rim. There not many college guards out there with that athleticism.

Id play a 2 guard at 1. Sorta like we would've done with Rayjon.

If we're gonna average 20+ turnovers with the pgs accounting for half of them might as well have a reason for it. Memphis can find a juco player if need be.

There's a reason Jeremiah had to handle the ball and that's when we were most dangerous..

Venus Williams is very athletic and at 6' 1 could post up Tyler Harris at will - and she's 37.

Have you seen the badonkadonk on her and her sister? They could have cleared Shaq out of lane in his prime swinging those things around... 03-lmfao

The crazy thing about this whole deal is people are jumping up and down about Tyler being a defensive liability...When the stats say he really is not.

He is an offensive liability...As Crazy as it sounds.

With Tyler on the floor our Defensive Eff. is .9340 and teams shoot 34.6% against us.

Without Tyler on the floor our Defensive Eff. is .9273 and teams shoot 37.4%.

Now the reason we are a little better without Tyler on the floor defensively although teams shoot a higher percentage is because of rebounding.
With Tyler Def Reb% is 67.7% and Without Tyler Def Reb% is 73.1%

Offensively with Tyler Off. Eff Rating is .9343 PPP
Offensively without Tyler Off. Eff. Rating is 1.0057 PPP

Best Guard Combo I can find is Baugh and Alo
151 possessions
158 points
Allowed 129 points
Opp FG% 35.9%
Def Reb% 78.8%
Off Eff. 1.0436
Def Eff .7973 (That is insanely effective)
