That win hopefully keeps us out of the bottom pod and gets us into the conference tournament. If things took a turn for the worst, that would’ve been a thing to worry about. Continue to try and get better and be ready for Frisco.

This UAB team can beat anybody in the conference, and lose to anybody in the conference.

Glad we played a little less team ball and had the best scoring output weve had. Most complete game ive heard this season lol.

Hopefully they don't take that for granted and let their guard down on Saturday.

ODU 73, Rice 70

The ODU women also beat the Rice women last night (ending 30+ game conference winning streak, I think)...

We are in the middle pod, then. Means we can focus on remaining healthy or heal some minor stuff over the next 2 weeks.

How does a team with a 6’9 F, lose a women’s game outside the P5?

We stopped jacking up wild 3s and went inside hard all night.

First half, we couldn't hit a layup ... second half, some shots started falling and Jalen Benjamin got hot from outside. Beautiful to see...

Seems to me that tough inside game has been there all season, and I'm hoping we stick with it through the end of the year. In my opinion, our success starts with Butler.

Butler sure was the difference maker in Texas a few weeks ago.

A healthy Butler last year and we probably win that CUSA tourney as well as finish a notch or two higher regular season.

RE: UAB-MTSU
Well, I guess I'll just tack on to the last game thread.
Blazers start fast and get out to an early 7 point lead.
MTSU comes back and takes a 5 point lead.

The team takes Blazer talk advice and starts to find Butler often.
Butler with 12 points
28-19 UAB lead, 4:30 left in the 1st half
