Polling Priorities...Hint: Global Climate Change isn't top 15

While I realize the point of this is about fighting global climate change and how low it ranks among voters in this poll, but it is interesting to look at all of the priorities.

#1 is the economy...and IMO, the best way to protect/improve the economy is to get out of corporate America's way. Less regulation, more capitalism.

Some of these items will more than likely never be fixed, due to needing it for campaign promises, and realizing how painful it will be to actually fix. (See Social Security & Medicare)

Protecting the environment is the same thing as dealing with global climate change in my book. It's #1 on my list but even #8 here isn't bad (and is well ahead of #9, dealing with the issue of immigrants).

To me, it is not quite the same...but similar.

I see protecting the environment is about making sure that we have clean waterways and green space to visit. Maintaining and expanding National parks and other accessible federal lands.

I noticed both of those were listed. Curious what differentiates those two for the purposes of this poll?

Those can be very different things.
Clean air and water do not necessarily mean reduced carbon emissions.

Well if you are going to create scenarios to make your stance look "better" one could argue that dealing with immigrants strongly goes towards #'s 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6.

But protecting the environment =/= dealing with global climate change. I'm all for protecting the environment, and belong to many groups that do a hell of a lot better job of it than any on the left, but I see the global climate change hoax for what it is: subterfuge for global income redistribution.

From January 2019.

Anything more recent?

However, I agree, especially in the poor, underserved (mostly minority) communities (that Democrats cater to). Most folks don't give a rats ass about climate change or open borders.

Most want better job and educational opportunities.

Better (or more) jobs and open borders are intrinsically connected IMO.

Mostly similar results but it appears the questions were presented differently.

But guys... muh settled science!

We have exactly 12 years to reduce our carbon footprint as a species or else we're going to have extreme global warming which will be brought on by severe global cooling, rising tides, glacial melting, plastic straws, cows (who selflessly give us their milk after we rip their calves from them), and... what else? Poverty. Yes. Also brought on by income inequality, poverty, and the lack of transgender rights legislation.

The bottom line... we have to impeach Donald Trump again and pay reparations to brown people.

Also no more Confederate monuments.

I love reading how college graduates have problems with strengthening the US military, dealing with drug addiction and putting our country in a better position to complete in the global economy.

Educated Idiots!

All that book learning and still phucking clueless.
I’m glad I will be long dead before the college educated 18-29 in this survey have an opportunity to phuck everything in the country up.

Looking at the chart for Partisan Divide in the Most Important Electoral Issues there were a whole bunch of obvious ones that Dems would care about far more than Rep (Climate Change, income distribution, race relations, LGBT issues) but I'm surprised that healthcare had such a big divide between Dems calling it extremely important vs Rep. Only one with a bigger gap was Climate Change (which would be obvious). Also interesting that healthcare had the highest Dem and independent % of any issue.
