Forgot the Oscars were on Last Night
Yawn---does anybody actually watch this horse ****? I wouldn't cross the street to see any of those embarrassing, adolescent ********!

Quote:

Chris Rock and Steve Martin mocked Democrats during the 2020 Academy Awards on Sunday over the disastrous Iowa caucuses and the homeless problem in Los Angeles.

“A couple of years ago there was a big disaster here at the Oscars where they accidentally read out the wrong name, and it was nobody’s fault, but they have guaranteed that this will not happen this year because the Academy has switched to the new Iowa caucus app,” Martin said. “But what a night!”

“Yeah, I don’t know Steve,” Rock responded. “I’m a little conflicted, you know. I was driving here tonight and seeing the terrible homeless problem in L.A.—”

Martin immediately cut him off, yelling, “Thank you, Chris! So many stars! Oh my God, there’s Brad Pitt. It’s like looking at a mirror.”

The homeless problem in Los Angeles and in California as a whole – both controlled by the Democratic Party – has gotten significantly worse in recent years.

TRANSCRIPT:

CHRIS ROCK: While we were backstage watching it, Steve says to me, J Lo’s killing it two weeks in a row.

STEVE MARTIN: You know, I was thinking today Chris that we both have hosted the Oscars before and this is such an incredible demotion. They don’t really have hosts anymore. Why is that?

ROCK: Twitter. Hey, everybody’s got an embarrassing tweet somewhere. I know I do.

MARTIN: A couple of years ago there was a big disaster here at the Oscars where they accidentally read out the wrong name and it was nobody’s fault but they have guaranteed that this will not happen this year because the Academy has switched to the new Iowa caucus app. But what a night!

ROCK: Yeah, I don’t know Steve. I’m a little conflicted, you know. I was driving here tonight and seeing the terrible homeless problem in L.A.—

MARTIN: Thank you, Chris! So many stars! Oh my God, there’s Brad Pitt, it’s like looking at a mirror.

ROCK: … Jeff Bezos is here. Jeff Bezos—

MARTIN: Wow, great actor.

ROCK: He’s got cash, when he writes a check the bank bounce. Jeff Bezos is so rich, he got divorced and he’s still the richest man in the world. He saw Marriage Story and thought it was a comedy. Steve, do you have anything that you want to add about Mr. Bezos?

MARTIN: No, I like getting my packages on time.

Two observations... the bald people look a lot like the coneheads, Joaquin Phoenix worries about a cow having its baby taken away, but thinks nothing of late term human abortion, nice priorities.

No condoms so they can stop all of this evil spawn?

Quote:Even if they don't take home an Oscars statue, all 24 nominees for the top individual categories at the 92nd Academy Awards will still receive a prize of their own.

This year's "Everyone Wins" nominee gift bag, from marketing company Distinctive Assets, is valued at $225,000, according to Forbes, and includes exclusive trips, hotel stays and cosmetic treatments.

Here are some of the more extravagant prizes that nominees in the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Director categories could bring home.

12-day trip for two on the Scenic Eclipse

The ultra-luxury yacht will take attendees into the Antarctic and is the first vessel of its kind to do so. The yacht features its own helicopters, 114 cabins and a two-bedroom Owner's Penthouse Suite. The cruise is valued at just over $78,000, according to Forbes.

Treatments and cosmetic procedures from Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich

Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich is a New York City plastic surgeon known for specializing in face, eye and neck lift treatments. Anyone who receives this Oscars goodie bag can get $25,000 worth of cosmetic procedures and treatments.

A trip to destination spa Golden Door

Golden Door offers a transformational experience for visitors through wellness, fitness, nutrition and mindfulness. The destination offers week-long packages that cost around $10,000 each.

Two-night luxury stay at Auberge Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico

Auberge Resort's Los Cabos location "Esperanza" offers luxury rooms on the beach with a private pool, a butler and a chef. A stay at this resort can range between $1,200 to $6,000 per night.

A stay for eight guests in a Spanish lighthouse. Price: about $1,600 per night

The goodie bag recipient and seven additional guests will be able to stay at the Faro Cumplida lighthouse located in the Canary Islands. The active lighthouse is 34-meters high (112 feet) and has an infinity pool. A typical stay at this unusual, luxe spot costs around $1,700 a night.

Oscar nominees got a $225,000 gift bag, arrived in private jets, and limos, but they want to lecture us on income inequality and climate change?

They are doing their part for these WOKE causes by lecturing us on how evil our decadent lifestyle is and how it will destroy society and the planet. 03-drunk03-lmfao

I didn't watch that circus but did they really memorize Jeffrey Epstein? Or was that photoshopped? It's horrible if it's for real. Honoring a child sex predator. Truly Unholywood is the new Sodom and Gomorrha, or is that Gonorrhea.

RE: Forgot the Oscars were on Last Night
Back in the 60's when I was a kid I used to enjoy watching the Oscars. I knew it was on, but had no intention of watching it. Haven't watched it in years. It is no longer the enjoyable program that it once was. It has evolved into nothing more than a bunch of people that seemingly view themselves as being WAAAAAY more important than they ever will be and they all seem to be hard Leftist that want to preach their stanch political beliefs upon the rest of us. Talk to the hand cause the ears aren't listening!

RE: Forgot the Oscars were on Last Night
Kinda liked Brad Pitt in some of his movies like Fury and Inglorious Basterds. Well he had to attack Republicans last night when he accepted an Oscar. So pizz on him. Why these celebrities thank they should get political at these award shows is just stupid. By the way, I read about this. Haven’t watched any awards show in over a decade. Loved seeing how terrible the ratings were for that propaganda show last night.

Well, to be fair, the bald lady is battling cancer. However, that doesn't ease the fact she was openly calling for communism in her acceptance speech. BTW, her film was funded by Obama's production company I believe.
