9th vs. 10th
Seems to me that finishing 9th would be a much better road for us than finishing 10th.

Current CAA Standings

1. Hofstra (9-3)
2. Charleston (9-4)
3. Delaware (8-4)
4. W&M (8-5)
Towson (8-5)
6. Drexel (6-6)
7. NU (5-7)
8. Elon (5-8)
9. UNCW (3-10)
10. JMU (2-11)

I'd much rather face a road that takes us through Elon and Hofstra/Charleston than one that sees us face Northeastern then whoever finishes 2nd.

Of course, NU might fall behind Elon.

RE: 9th vs. 10th
Since Charleston could easily be first, second, or third, it sounds like you'd rather play Hofstra than Delaware. You lost by 14 at Delaware and by 2 hosting Hofstra, but you improved under Burke, so I think your performance hosting Hofstra would have been better than a loss by 14 if it was at Delaware. Delaware shoots field goals much better than their opponents and better than Hofstra, but in 25 games each Hofstra has 91 more field goal attempts and 63 more free throw attempts. That's because Hofstra leads the CAA in turnover margin, and Delaware is eighth. Hofstra and Delaware are similar in that all five starters average double-digits, including Dylan Painter who won't play in three-fourths of Delaware's games to qualify but is clearly a starter. Omar Silverio leads Hofstra bench with 4.0 points. Collin Goss leads Delaware's bench with 6.2, but he's averaging exactly 5 since Painter became eligible, and he's scored 5 in 57 minutes in his last 5 games combined.

I'm not saying Hofstra will certainly win hosting you and/or in the CAA Tournament, and I'd rather face JMU or Elon than you, but I don't think any top team is a much easier opponent than any other top team.
