Fans Are Excited Again!

Now, I need to be careful and practice what I preach. I don't want to dampen the joy of our Coach remaining on the UC sideline and whoopin' it up with the players in the locker room after a win. But....when can we reasonably expect a contract extension for Coach Fick and a payroll increase to the staff? Surely our administration has to be pleased with the outcome and realize the boon we have in football success and the brand exposure moving forward? Any of you'se got any info on this?

Guys, on a serious note...if you look at the future landscape for us to ever get outta the AAC - it has never looked brighter. We. Will. Continue. To. Win. And. Recruit. You never know what is going to happen with realignment after this COVID stuff but one things is known - we are a legit football program with a legit coach for many [YES, MANY] years to come! We gonna cut back on football expenses and focus our resources on basketball? Awl hail no! Go Bearcats!

Chad Brendel is going to have him on ESPN1530 at I believe 5:15. Chad subbing for Mo should be a lot of Bearcat talk today. I believe Justin Williams is going to be on at 3:15 to discuss the news.

Edit: confirmed Justin Williams at 3:15p and Fickell at 5:15p..

He may be a Buckeye but I think deep down he knows he fits well at UC and in Cincinnati. Unless tOSU opens I think we'll keep him. Really, really hope so. I like everything I see and hear about him and his family.

I love Fickell. He's seems to be a great man both in football and outside the game.

Hope we can keep him around as long as possible! Positivity seems to follow him everywhere.
