I like None's chances these next few days.

Big rivalry game on Sunday: ECU with a chance to punch Cincy's NIT ticket.

WSU HAS to go 2-0 this week or NCAA chances are likely gone.

Tough week for the Coogs. Will no doubt be a fistfight as always on Wednesday against the Bulls, and then a roadtrip to Dallas for a rivalry game on Saturday.

As much as I would love for SMU to give Jank a lifetime contract, a 6th straight loss to Kelvin Sampson would not be good for him.

And hopefully our guy trying to take a last second shot won't get punched... like yesterday.

I hope you guys are right. As Kelvin always, it's really hard to win on the road in college basketball.

I just noticed the start time for Houston-USF... Why 9pm Eastern? That's an awful late start for a midweek game.

Because ESPN broadcasts 7 PM ET and 9 PM ET games. ESPN3 does 8 PM ET start times if that interests you more.

AAC news-ish

Wichita had a super emotional practice on Sunday
https://www.kansas.com/sports/college/wi...79523.html
summary- Sunday was supposed to be a day off, marshall called a practice after such a bad beat down at houston...Marshall says every single player went to the line before practice (to prepare run) before he even said anything..he did infact make them run, after he asked if they had anything to say to the team..they said no..he then made them run again and run again until they all said something to say....it ended with everyone putting everything on the table, players going at him about their minutes, going at each other for how they playing, how they are being used...it got emotional...marshall said it was what he wanted, a "watershed moment" ..said everyone felt cleansed after practice..

grimes learning to "punchback":
http://thedailycougar.com/2020/02/11/gri...s-culture/
grimes isnt a naturally confident person, but is slowly getting there. feels at home, being close with all the players and everything clicking

sampson uses the analogy: if someone punches you, you dont just go and ask them why did they just punch you {hints this is how grimes was} “You got to punch them back." that is the culture at houston..says grimes is getting there.. (referencing his mid-season struggles)

also texas' smart most likely fired after yesterdays loss...the kelvin sampson, gregg marshall to texas talks are every where

I took it to read that Grimes isn't a naturally aggressive player.

With any luck the Nutmeggers finish him off on Wednesday. Nobody, I repeat.... nobody is expecting much noise from the hometeam on Saturday. Please don’t Coog it. If SMU happens to win let it be an honest one.
