You are right Stammers.

Most of you clowns on here are the biggest bunch of cry baby, backstabbing, wusses one can imagine. When Tubby was here, y’all were screaming that the program was dead and that the ONLY thing to save it was to hire Penny. Now that there has been a little adversity, not to mention some extremely bad luck related to injuries, y’all are now saying he is in over his head and looking for the NEXT coach. Additionally, you insult our players and make insane comments and critiques. Y’all are pathetic!! I can see why so many of our posters have left the board in the last few years. Most of the drivel on here is pure idiotic. Shame on the ones I am referring to and you know who you are.
We are really lucky to have posters that are both coaches and doctors together. They know what needs to be done with set plays, etc. and also how badly hurt a player is just by seeing him on the bench. I'm impressed....(NOT)

No one in their right mind is looking for a new coach. Hyperbolic much?
Operative words right there. There's a thin line between Fandom and Fanaticism. Some people think the performance of freshmen is a hill worth dying on.

Precious is very tough and a very hard worker...

But IMO...NO INSIDE INFORMATION HERE...

It just seems that Precious is not a guy who loves the game of basketball. He is good at it and he wants to use it to take care of his family. He plays very hard and tries to compile stats but I don't see him making TEAM plays.

Damn! This is idiotic. Lighten up people. The sun will shine again. I know things aren’t going our way right now. But things will get better.

RE: Any word on Precious?
We still indulge some of the worst fans in America

And don’t start the whining you are trying to be super fan and we won’t accept this and that

I am not addressing the venting of disappointment in the loss yesterday. That is normal

I am addressing the mocking of kids and the immediate bashing of coaches with the all or nothing. You are 17-6 with a home loss to USF so you suck! Especially with that terrible game at Tulsa, you suck!

Penny does not suck. And the players are not quitters. They are human and as a team, clearly with a different makeup than was originally anticipated, are not as good as we had hoped. But are doing what they can to get better. The are indeed still the youngest in America and sometimes that matters.

They play harder than the fans who allegedly support them cheer. Entitled fans. Who leave swaths of empty seats in an arena while claiming we have the best support. We don’t.

Even yesterday where the shooting was abysmal and the rebounding worse, they stormed back from a very late 9 point hole to tie it. It sucked giving up the layup right after that and then losing. But it was not for lack of effort

USF did the right thing then. Go to the hole, there is not a shot blocker anywhere. Strategically there our coaches did make an error. Sag and make them make a longer shot, even if it is an open one. But a strategic mistake is hardly worthy of the level of snark and vitriol

If you hate it so much, don’t watch the Cincy game. If you deep down love it so much but can not contain your disappointment, help the team and come to the next home game. We could have used a few thousand more yesterday.

Done. Enjoy the board trolls, till Thursday.

Lance was cramping. So should be available. Who would have thought missing Dandridge would have mattered so much. 2-3 more Memphis rebounds and we win. Dam.

Wow! +3 Awesome post my friend! I have to learn to stay off this board after a loss until the next day. Some of our fans are totally irrational after losses.

I don’t disagree with him not being a team player. He tries to do too much on his own. Don’t know if it’s him or he’s being told to do it.

100% agree... as long as you are good at what you do. The reason you do it doesn't matter. Just easier for someone who loves it to put in the extra work

Good Post. Only immature kids would say these type of things. It's bad enough the bad luck their having after so much adversity. Thankfully the whole Tiger Nation doesn't feel that way and support Penny 100%. Look at what happened to Larry Finch shortly after taking over the program. That team had a legit shot and making a deep run in his first eligible season after starting out on probation. He still had a decent season when his two best players screwed up. Some of the posters here need to grow up. I tried to give cautious optimism before the season started because everyone was bouncing off the walls with excitement which is o.k., but things can and do happen when a season starts.

This season is a bust Precious should shut it down and start working out with James preparing for the draft. He gave it his all, but now is the time to start thinking about his future for now the present is dim.

Same here. I had guarded optimism to start the season. I’ve been around for almost 60 years and seen so much happen. Some of our fans really should be ashamed for bashing the players and coaches the way they do.
