77 - 60 final. 11 straight, 30 consecutive conference wins.

Erica: 25 points, 17 rebounds
Nancy: 20 points, 6 boards, 4 blocks
Smith: 7 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists

Team: 20 assists vs. 16 turnovers.
The passing inside to Nancy for easy lay ups was the best I've seen this year.

Looks like ODU will hold on for the win, and it's looking more and more like the two Rice-ODu games will determine the conference regular season title. Starting with Thursday at their place.

I think Erica's a lock for her 3rd conference player of the week: back-to-back 25 point games, and 26 rebounds in the two wins.

Was at this one. Only thing I can add is Mulkey hit the deck a couple of times, which was worrisome. She lacks the athleticism of the shorter players and is an injury risk. But she seemed to recover OK.

Most active Nancy has been running the court. Actually was the lead on a break and caught the pass for an easy layup.

I wonder if Alexah Christman will redshirt this year?

I actually prefer Ellig, especially on the offensive end. She finally healthy and contributing quality minutes.

The loss of Nicole and Lauren has been pointed to several times but the contributions of Shani Rainey are missed as well. Ellig’s offense is a step up from Christman’s, but Rainey coming back from her own knee injury was a big part in the team’s success especially in the 2nd half of the season.

Erica got CUSA player of the week (no surprise) and just today was named National Player of the Week, which might be a first for a Rice basketball player, male or female. Quite an honor.

Yup, it is a first for a Rice basketball player.

RE: WBB vs MTSU
The question is since Alexah has played very little will Langley redshirt her?
