That’s what happens when you are two years too late in making a change. Gives anger a chance to turn into apathy.

I wonder if part of UAB's inconsistency has to do with game scouting. I know asst coaches are assigned games to scout. Could it be that game scouting has been bad?

We are said to be modeling this UAB team after Virginia. Virginia ranks 346th nationally in 3-point percentage. I'd say we're ahead of schedule.05-stirthepot

That's an interesting theory. Ultimately, if this is Ehsan's last year, he has been loyal to his staff to his own detriment. This program has needed an "elder statesman" lead assistant for over two years now. The guy doing color commentary knows a thing or two about what's going on out there.

Makes you realize how gracious the guy has been calling the games during this fiasco of a season. He really loves UAB. It is a blessing to have him back and associated with the program.

I agree. He has been nothing but gracious, and even complimentary, toward Ehsan in every broadcast. First class individual, who reminds me more and more of his dad every day.

Stop trying to make excuses for Ehsan. He is a bad head coach; it's that simple.

I understand that some people may be conflicted because Ehsan seems like a good person. This is not about his character. This is about his job performance and what is best for the future of the basketball program. His job performance is unacceptable and the future of the program is better without him.

I'm not making excuses for Ehsan. I'm just trying to understand how a team can look so good one game and be clueless the next. It wouldn't be the 1st time bad scouting doomed a team...

Louisiana Tech 79, Marshall 83

BTW, I think today's loss to UNT eliminates UAB from top pod contention...

1 Win Combined with a Rice loss (Depending on what UTSA does)
