Ticket sales look pretty good for today
Update. As of now, the site is closed. It looks like we are going to have over 4000 people in attendance!

Open this link LR vs ASU tickets and click on each section to see what is sold. IF you click a section and it does not open, then the whole thing is spoken for. Of course some of those leather seats might be corporate ghosts-- but look on the bright side, it's elbow room.

The end zone bleachers are SOLD OUT. All lower sections (the pricey seats) are 80% full or better. The students usually can be counted on for this game. The 200 level chairbacks have filled up quite a bit in the last 24 hours. As of this post They are about 50ish %.

Maybe not an official sellout this year, but more than 3x the average 1200 or so we have been seeing, maybe 1000 more with walk-ups.

I think Coach is going to be pleased.

RE: Ticket sales look pretty good for today
Based on what i saw before the ticket page closed, if all sold tickets as of noon today were scanned in at the door, we would have approximately 4580 paid attendance in the building.

Box score list 3522 attendance. Anyway, it was a great atmosphere. Sure thought there were more there

There’s no way there were only 3500 there. I don’t understand the logic of under reporting. It’s ignorant!

Looked every bit of 4500 to me. The seats that were unavailable on the ticket page looked to be mostly filled. It looks full if every other seat is occupied. Looked like the crowd spread out a bit in the video I saw.

No way we would under-report attendance. End zones were far from full. Probably easily squeeze 300-400 more in each. Upper level could seat several hundred more as well. Middle sections were fullest they've been, but plenty of empty seats around me. I would have guessed closer to 4000, but again, I doubt we under-report attendance. Over-reporting has gone on for years and probably skewed our perspective.

No way ASU had more than 200 fans there, if that. So we had over 3000 Little Rock fans in the arena. We need that for the rest of our home games so we can have a "real" college basketball atmosphere.

Visual interpolation. Our minds fill in the blanks according to the pattern we see. That is why, if the crowd is normally distributed, about 60% attendance will "feel" like a full house.

Troy’s Arena has different color seats which makes it look like a lot are there even when it’s empty

Hey, that is a nice effect. We might want to consider that.

So we finally get a decent crowd- Of course, it was the ASU game but maybe folks have finally realized how good a team we have. Only problem is we only have 2 home games left. Well, at least, we have 2 weeks to promote those games and one of them is homecoming. Hopefully, we'll get good crowds for both.

It appears the word is starting to get out. It looked like everyone had a blast with this game. With the $2 specials for the final games they are running it makes it hard not to pass up.

RE: Ticket sales look pretty good for today
I am watching the re-broadcast on Facebook, and it looks to me like 3500 was stretching it.

At the start, the crowd looks sparse as people are filing in late and getting their nachos and beer. Toward the end, when everyone is full and had a trip to the bathroom they settle in for the big finale. By then it looked fuller. At least 3500 if not more.
