Seems like these 20+ pt average HS scorers come in and maybe average 8 pts a game by their JR. Years.

slick player, lots of versatility, athletic but uses finesse. really effective with either hand.

Today’s Detroit News has a nice article about the front-runners for Mr. Basketball in Michigan. In the article, Rollins calls himself a combo guard playing point guard right now. Likes to get his teammates involved. He is averaging 27.5 points, 8 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 3 steals.

Says he is 6-3 or 6-4 with a 6-8 wingspan that helps him defensively.

See, Coach K can recruit guards for the most part, big men who can play some right away is a different story ?

Edu, Taylor, Booth, Maranka ( didn’t want to play him right away but he’s not shown that he can’t play). Most bigs have it harder than guards to start but there’s four recruits who got minutes their first year. Edu just missed leading the league in blocks as a frosh in spite of playing far fewer minutes than OU’s guy.
