Young man, that’s the best offensive performance I have ever seen in person. Unreal. Spitting double teams when there was just no space. Floaters from five feet, absolute bombs from 25- 30feet .Driving around double teams and launching. Many times we were all over the guy and it just didn’t matter.

Just wow man, congratulations. A all time scoring record against the Monarch's according to today’s paper. I’m impressed. Glad I saw that in person because it was really something.

It was amazing to watch indeed. I remember the 2003 then #13 St Joes Jameer Nelson and scored a game-high 24 points followed closely by Delonte West's 23. They were dropping bombs as well .

The kid was born to score. I remember Loughton putting 45 on Charlotte many moons ago, but maybe it's recency bias, as i thought Jackson's game was more impressive.

Kid was unreal. If it was a one time performance I'd be impressed. But he has shown the potential to go off like this for a couple years now. He's not physically impressive either. He looks like he could be a very deep on the bench player. Many of those shots were uncanny. He seems to be able to see the basket and lock in on it super, super fast. Very impressive.

He reminds me a little of Iverson. He is small, quick, can take a hit, and always seems out of control but the shots and drives go in nonetheless. I wonder if he gets a shot in the NBA or gets written off due to his size?

Very impressive player. I can't remember a scoring show like that against an ODU team ever. Worth the price of admission.

He really is an amazing athlete. As much as I hate watching him do that to us he's crazy fun to watch. I hope he gets a shot at NBA.

Doubt he makes it. Scoring doesnt get you to the league. Defense does. There have been numerous scoring guards that most wouldve thought would have a great NBA career but for whatever reason never play a min.

Think Tyrese Rice from BC during the Hansbrough years at UNC. Rice was the second leading scorer in ACC behind Hansbrough and could get to the rim with ease.

Never played a min in the NBA but has killed it overseas.

Glad yall wanna slurp on this dude though lol go grab your pitch forks now...

Dabig, that's because it has never happened like this against us before. all time scoring record by an ODU opponent. I tip my cap to the dude.

That first half was insane. I did not enjoy that and cursed every one of his shots. I cursed a lot. His 2nd half was more human, but we did up the pressure on him. Unfortunately Wallace started to find his groove in the 2nd half. I actually thought Wallace had a better 2nd half than Jackson.

You were not alone. My wife scolded me at one point last night - - and told me that if I couldn't keep it clean at least try to keep it quiet.

I'll admit, right before the half I told my buddy I would like to see Jackson score once more so I could say I've seen someone score 30 points. In a half! I figured we were goners at that point anyway. Great comeback by our squad. A missed goal tending call, a few missed foul shots, we could have won. Although, whose to say that cat wouldn't have just launched a few more from 40 feet and hit.

Saw his highlights from last night. Similar to 5-9 Chris Clemmons, who I had the pleasure of watching play for Campbell. He's now on the Houston Rockets roster with a guaranteed contact despite not being drafted. I see Jackson potentially doing the same thing.

I didn't attend or watch last night's game, but I can say the greatest opposing player I've witnessed at the Ted would go to Norris Cole when he dropped 35 points for Cleveland State in the ESPN Bracketbuster game.

Dave T during the broadcast said it was possibly the best shooting performance he has seen in his life. Huge praise from an ODU legend. If only Curry had hit both FTs.

Wasn't Baze trying to guard him that day? We were behind the basket, up close, he put on an amazing show.

I saw the UR kid (Brothers) at the Robins Center score 38 against a Baze led ODU team. I wonder if that was the previous record?
