or don't rape women or turn sex that started off consensual into something that makes them feel raped afterwards. getting accused of rape once could be an unfair accusation. getting accused twice in 3 years makes you wonder if it happened more than twice and the other women just haven't wanted to come forward.

We all know the difficulties of the crime or false-accusation without witnesses. We also know conspiracy in this politically-socially-celebrity charged age which has had its far share of reasonably proven false accusation.

To use your own example. He had been accused of rape. Very public. It made you wonder. But socially it is "blaming the victim" to even wonder if those that followed the first accusation had other motives. Why be with a someone accused of rape?

To get to a place of truth I think we have to socially remove the sting of being victim or accused.

"Don't put yourself in a position to be judged?" That's not a possible task. It's the same as saying "don't put yourself in the position of being a victim."

I remember not long ago raising hackles of a few board members because I posted a decision a particular celebrity not worth my fannish attention. A personal choice, hurting no one, which turned into condemnation of not just my choice but of me.

This is how people are. Why worry? If anyone is worried about being "judged," live in a bubble.
