Speaking of Under Armour and Blazers.
I bought a UAB FB jersey from the campus bookstore, THE only place to get one, a while ago. My opinion of the jersey are the jersey's neck doesn't stretch and it doesn't have the dragon scale print on the sleeves.
Did anyone get a jersey (from any sports) when it was under Nike? How was it?

I can tell you one thing, the shoes the basketball teams wear — men and women — are hideous. I wouldn't wear them for free.
The high tops look like uncomfortable moon boots from 1960s Lost in Space or something. Yuck...

I'am a Addidas fan light weight and strong. Maybe Rockport can get into the Game behind Addidas, Rockport is my Favorite.

So much for the topic. Let's instead discuss how Under Armour underwear chaps the inside of our legs.

When is our apparel contract up? May not be as lucrative next time if we stay with Under Armour.

I’m over under armor. Wish coach would make them put some effort in our unis. Let alabama and auburn have the traditional unis. We need to stand out.

we went with Under Armour because they offered a much better deal. Nike doesn't give a crap about programs at our level. If Nike offers a better deal we will switch but that's probably not going to happen

It was all about dollars. Under Armour offered more.
Back in the day we would wear Russell Athletic and not have all this drama.

Guess you missed out on the ice dragons the last few seasons.

Does anyone know if Southern Miss gets money from Adidas? Even switching to them could give UAB more access for basketball.
Length of UA Contract: seven-year agreement started on June 1, 2016, and runs through May 31, 2023.
"The average product allowance over the seven-year span is around $1,026,000; a number that Ingram said is around three to four times higher than its previous deal with Nike and a number significantly higher than what Nike and Adidas offered."

I found this comment interesting: “ A former executive said some runners at Under Armour-sponsored colleges refused to train in the company’s shoes because they worried they might get hurt.”
I heard an interesting stat last year. Since the last conference shakeup, only 2 CUSA schools have had more than 1 basketball player with an ACL tear: UAB & ODU (I believe). Both schools use Under Armour shoes.

FWIW I have a buddy that played football while his school went from Adidas to Under Armour and the entire team were wary of UA's cleats. Apparently the ankle support is poor.
