RE: FLO HOOPS CAA player rankings
I posted that in CAA Conference Talk last week and said that I don't expect people to believe the rankings because Riller is tied for 13th and not the best player in his team. Sam Miller (13.8 points fewer than Miller), Dennis Tunstall (11.6 points fewer than Fobbs), and Deshon Parker (9.9 points fewer than Lewis) are the best players on their teams in those rankings. None of those three have a 1 in 1,000,000 chance to be the top player on their team in CAA First Team/Second Team/Third Team voting.

About your players, I think Buie and Roland being the top two in either order on the CAA First Team is unlikely, and I don't think Roland can do much to affect his voting. He'll be on the First Team but not POY, so his performance the rest of the season only affects that if you care about how second through fifth on the First Team rank. Walker should win ROY. I don't think he'll make the Third Team.

RE: FLO HOOPS CAA player rankings
I think FLO understands that when a lot of people look at box scores they just look at the points scored column and give too much weight to that category when rating players. This is an attempt to give more weight to the other stats. I don't know how they weighted the other categories but it needs to be fine tuned. Having Miller ahead of Riller (even if he is just barely ahead) is just wrong. Maybe FLO put too much weight, for instance, on blocked shots where Miller has four times the number as Riller.

What this list does do is tell us about the depth of each team. We have three and you have five in the top thirty-five.

Who knows where the POY thing will go. Preseason I just thought that Roland should be on the first team, not the second team. Part way into the season we both thought he had the POY inside track. Now he isn't the favorite and POYs go to players that get their teams near the top of the standings.
