Could it happen?
Now that the absolute barrier against playing in-state teams seems to have been removed in Fayetteville, there is an interesting possibility arising. Right now ESPN has them in the "Work To Do" slot, and Busting Brackets has them in the "Some Perspiration" category. In other words, it is not a given at this point that they will make the Dance.

On the other hand, there is a decent likelihood that we will get the NIT nod if we don't win the SBC tournament. Since the NIT does sometimes work regional match-ups, we might have an intra-Arkansas game. Don't you reckon DW would be fired up for that one?

RE: Could it happen?
I had thought of that same thing- not as big a deal as it would have been just a couple of years ago.

I’m just hoping that they will meet again next season. Maybe another exhibition game or better yet, the annual Razorback game at Simmons Bank Arena

Either Bud Walton or the Jack. Don't want to be a visitor in my own former arena.

Would be fine for me. At least, we would have some fans at Simmons. First game in the capital city- maybe ESPN would pick it up.

We ought to continue to get better as the season goes. The Sausage Factory have had some injury problems, haven't they?
